Privacy policy
Nail Salon Michelle, based in The Hague, processes personal data of clients and website visitors. Below you can read which data that is, what we use it for, and what rights you have.
Who is responsible?
Nail Salon Michelle is the data controller. Questions about privacy can be asked through the contact form on this website, by telephone, or at the salon.
Which data do we process?
Clients: name, telephone number, e-mail address, appointments and, where necessary for a safe treatment, relevant health information (such as allergies). Website visitors: only anonymous statistics (with consent) and the functional storage needed for the site to work.
What do we use it for?
To plan and carry out appointments, to keep you informed of changes, to treat you safely and — with consent — to improve our website. We do not use your data for advertising and never sell or rent it to third parties.
How long do we keep data?
Client data is kept as long as necessary for our administration and statutory retention duties; treatment notes follow the statutory retention periods for care providers. Statistical data is kept by Google Analytics for at most 14 months.
Sharing with third parties
We work with service providers who may process our data: Google (website statistics), Treatwell (online bookings) and our hosting provider (website and e-mail). We have processor agreements with them; they only act on our instruction.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Send your request via the contact form or by telephone; we respond within four weeks. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures: secure connections (https), restricted access to client data, and a clean, lockable file in the salon.
