Terms and conditions
From the moment an appointment is made — by telephone, e-mail, WhatsApp, Treatwell or in person — these terms and conditions apply.
1. General
These terms apply to every offer, treatment and agreement between Nail Salon Michelle and the client, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
2. Treatments and client information
We perform treatments with due care and skill. The client is responsible for providing all information reasonably relevant to a safe treatment and its result, such as allergies, medication use and skin condition. We are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
3. Cancellation and lateness
Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance, in person or by telephone. If notice is given later or an appointment is missed, up to 50% of the treatment price may be charged. If you arrive more than five minutes late, the treatment may be shortened and the full price charged.
4. Payment
All prices are displayed in the salon and in the price list on this website; amounts include 21% VAT. Payment is due immediately after the treatment. Price changes are announced in the salon at least 30 days in advance.
5. Warranty
Nail Salon Michelle gives a 7-day warranty on a new set of artificial nails, covering free repair or refill of up to two nails. Other treatments are not covered. The warranty expires if the nails have been treated by third parties, made too long against our advice, exposed to harsh chemicals without gloves, or damaged deliberately or carelessly.
6. Liability
We are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client, for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings in the salon, or for health damage arising from a treatment (such as an allergic reaction).
7. Complaints
Complaints about a treatment or product must be reported within five working days of discovery, in writing via the contact form. We respond within five working days and aim to resolve the matter in consultation.
8. Nail design
A shown example of nail art is an indication; the result on your nails may differ. Designs created by the salon are protected by copyright. For commercial use of photographs of the nail art, we ask permission.
9. Conduct in the salon
We expect clients to behave according to generally accepted standards. Access to the salon may be refused in case of repeated inappropriate behaviour.
10. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to all agreements. In case of disputes about interpretation, the Dutch text is binding. These terms are registered with the Chamber of Commerce.
