From the moment an appointment has been scheduled by personal, telephone or e-mail, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to any offer, treatment and transaction between Nail Salon Michelle and the client to which the nail salon has declared these terms and conditions insofar as these terms have not been expressly and in writing by the parties.

2. Effort nail salon

Nail Salon Michelle will perform the treatments to the best insight and ability and in accordance with the requirements of good workmanship and based on the state of the art currently known.
The client is responsible for sharing timely all information that may be of reasonable importance for the end result of the treatment.
Nail Salon Michelle is not liable for damage of any kind which is caused by incorrect and / or incomplete data provided by the client.
Nail Salon Michelle will as much as reasonably as possible inform the client of the financial consequences of the change or addition of the treatment.

3. Appointments

The client must notify the Nail Salon Michelle personally or by telephone (by telephone number on www.nailsalonmichelle.nl) as soon as possible, but not later than 24 hours prior to the appointment. If the client fails to comply with this obligation or not, Nail Salon Michelle may calculate 50% fee for the agreed treatment to the client. If the client arrives in the salon more than five minutes later than the scheduled time, Nail Salon Michelle may reduce the lost time of treatment and yet calculate the entire agreed fee. Nail Salon Michelle must report to the client as soon as possible, but not later than 24 hours prior to the appointment. Both parties do not have to comply with these obligations. if they are hampered by force majeure. Force majeure includes what the law and jurisprudence says about it, including work in the nail salon.

4. Payment

Nail Salon Michelle lists all prices of treatments and products visible in the nail salon.
The prices quoted are inclusive of 21% VAT.
Nail Salon Michelle announces price changes 30 days before the date of entry clearly visible in the salon.
The client should pay the payment of the treatment and any products immediately after treatment. Only after consultation, prior to the treatment, with the nail salon is payment in installments possible. All mentioned prices are subject to price changes and any spelling mistakes.

5. Personal Information & Privacy

The client provides Nail Salon Michelle prior or at first treatment of all data of which indicates that these are necessary. The client should reasonably understand that they are necessary for the careful handling of the treatments. Nail Salon Michelle registers the personal information of the client in an automated system and / or on a customer card. Nail Salon Michelle treats the confidential information of the client according to the guidelines in the Personal Data Protection Act. Nail Salon Michelle will not sell or rent customer data to third parties without the prior written permission of the client.

6. Confidentiality

Nail Salon Michelle is required to maintain confidentiality of all confidential information that the client has communicated during the treatment. Information is confidential if this has been communicated by the client or if it is due to the nature of the information. The confidentiality expires if, by virtue of a legal provision or a court order, Nail Salon Michelle is required to provide confidential information to third parties.

7. Liability

Nail Salon Michelle is not responsible for any damage whatsoever due to the fact that the nail salon was based on incorrect and / or incomplete information provided by the client regarding relevant physical conditions, drug use, work or leisure. Nail Salon Michelle is not Liability for loss, theft or damage to personal property brought by the client to the salon. Nail Salon Michelle is not liable for any health damage arising from treatment, for example; allergy or other pathologies of any kind.

8. Warranty

Nail Salon Michelle gives the customer 1 week (7 days) warranty on a new set of artificial nails. In this warranty cover, up to 2 artificial nails can be repaired free of charge or filled up if necessary. Other treatments (fillings, lacquers, color gels, manicure, pedicure, reinforcements, sugar reticulation, makeup, etc.) are not guaranteed. This warranty expires if:
• The client has maintained the artificial nails by third parties.
• The client’s artificial nails despite a negative advice from Nail Salon Michelle are too long (up to 1/3 tip, 2/3 nail bed).
• The customer got in contact without gloves with chemicals which are damaging to the nails.
• The client has in-deliberately or deliberately broken the artificial nails.
• The client has used other products than recommended by Nail Salon Michelle Studio for the maintenance of the artificial nails.
• The client has not followed the advice for home care of the artificial nails, as described in the advisory leaflet and on the website www.nailsalonmichelle.nl.
• The client did not seek advice for medical care within five business days.
• The client did not use the products according to the instructions.
• In the case of misuse, pregnancy, drug use, illness, poor home care, nail bites and placement at age under 18 years.

9. Damage and theft

Nail Salon Michelle has the right of the client to claim damages if the client damages furniture, equipment or products. Nail Salon Michelle always reports theft to the police.

10. Complaints

If the client has a complaint about the treatment or a product, it must be reported in writing trough the contact form of Nail Salon Michelle (www.nailsalonmichelle.nl) and the treating stylist as soon as possible, but within five working days after discovery. Nail Salon Michelle must respond adequately to the complainant within five business days. If a complaint is based, Nail Salon Michelle will perform the treatment as agreed, unless it has proven not to be beneficial for the client or not complying with the terms and inform the client in writing. If Nail Salon Michelle and complainant can not reach agreement, the complainant may file the dispute with the legislator or mediator.

​11. Nail design

If Nail Salon Michelle shows an example of a nail design to be applied, this will only be used as an indication. The result on the client’s nails does not have to be identical to the example shown. The copyright applies on nail art motifs which are based on designs of Nail Salon Michelle. If the client lets photograph the applied nail art for commercial use, Nail Salon Michelle must ask for permission. Nail Salon Michelle may require a reasonable fee for this.

12. Proper behavior

The client should behave properly in accordance with generally accepted standards. If, after repeated warnings, the client continues to show improper behavior, Nail Salon Michelle has the right to refuse the client access to the salon on the grounds of reasons.

13. Law

Dutch law applies to any agreement between Nail Salon Michelle and the client. These terms and conditions have been deposited at the offices of the Chamber of Commerce in Amsterdam. In the event of an explanation of the content and the meaning of these terms and conditions, the Dutch text is always determinative. Applicable is the last registered version or the version as it was at the time of the conclusion of the agreement.

14. Discounts and offers

* Gift and discount coupons are not exchangeable for cash.
* Discount coupons are not valid in combination with other offers.
* Only one discount coupon can be exchanged per costumer/treatment.
* Offers are valid for the specified duration and / or while stocks last.
* Appointments based on campaigns cannot be scheduled more then 45 days in the future.
